7 Simple Steps to a Awesome Freestyle Flip Turn

  1. Teach yourself to somersault
  2. Do a half somersault on the wall
  3. Bring both hands together
  4. Push off on your back
  5. Rotate slightly to your side
  6. Dolphin or flutter kick.
  7. Take a breakout stroke.

 

Being able to do a flip turn is a sign of a good swimmer.

Simple Step #1: Push off the bottom and do a somersault

Simple Step #2: Push off the wall and do a somersault

Simple Step #3: Somersault over a pool noodle.

Simple Step #4: Somersault with both hands in front

Simple Step #5: Somersault with both hand at your hips

Simple Step #6 Somersault with one arm in front, one arm at hip

Simple Step #7: Somersault into the wall
